KEITH BABB’S MEMORIAL TROPHY

On 8th, January 2010 at the celebration of Keith Babb’s life it was suggested by Mr Ron Freckelton and agreed by the friends below to organise a cricket match and picnic to commemorate the anniversary of his passing.

The SWCC have founded the “Keith Babb’s Memorial Trophy” in his honour. This represents the principles which Keith stood for: - Team player, commitment, dedication, competitiveness, cohesion and fair play. He also was constantly sourcing new members for the club. This trophy will be presented annually to a member who portrays these qualities.
Keith was a very proud family man, team player and West Indian who gave of himself unconditionally in the keeping of the faith.
The SWCC will organise an annual cricket match and a picnic. The first of these occasions was held on Sunday 20th, March 2011 at “Reg Bartley Oval, Waratah St, Rushcutters Bay” and all who attended had a great time.

The SWCC would like to invite family and friends to participate in this fun day in remembrance of Keith and we look forward to seeing you there.
